The Charleston Golf Week Amateur tour attacked Charleston National on Sat. The Weather was wonderful and the course was in spectacular shape.
The A flight saw the return of Matt McInnis to the winners circle as he posted an 80 to best Dan Wanner by three shots. Dan Wanner and Jace Gause both shot 83 with Dan taking second on a scorecard playoff.
Following Matt in the winner’s circle was Matt's father; Paul McInnis who not only won the B flight but posted the lowest round of the day. Paul fired an impressive 79 while taking second was Devan Lawrence with an 84.
The C flight saw a first time winner as Zak Thrasher posted his first victory with a one shot win over David Mays and two over Erik Eadie.
The D flight saw T J Fabian continue his solid play as he posted an 89 to cruise into first while John Wilson had a nice round of 102 to take second.
