Elliott Johnson, Brian Priester, Josh Kirkley, Scott Johnson and Jimmy Bryson all win at Savannah Quarters!
Champ Flight:
Elliott Johnsonwins for the first time in 2023 by just one shot, firing a one under par round
of 71 for the victory. Chris Legare birdied the 18thhole to finish at even par 72 and edged out Jeff Wong on the card playoff for second place money. Local member Robert Wyrick finished solo fourth with 75 followed by Chris Bell at 76. Bell was trying to win three in a row this
week but Johnson ended his streak of wins.
A Flight:
Brian Priesterand Jacksonville’s Chris Lambfinished tied with 81’s. So off to the
18th they went for a sudden-death playoff which Priester won by
paring the hole on two separate occasions.
The win for Priester was his first of the season. Michael
Lynch and Don Hasen (Charlotte)
finished tied with 82’s and John Dobbinsrounded out the top five spots at 83.
B Flight:
Josh Keistlerwins by one shot with a round of 82 followed by Kris Brinker at 83. Daniel Barnard was third with 84 and Thomas Edwards and Dusty Mullis (Atlanta) tied fourth at 86.
C Flight:
Scott Johnsonalso wins for the first time in 2023 with 86 followed by Brad Boyd at 89. Chris Totten continues to cash this
time tied for third with Ashley Schoenwith 90. Paul Guy rounded out the top five spots with 93.
D Flight:
Jimmy Bryson wins
by two shots over Aaron Mastersonand last week’s winner Carl Matlock. The three players shot 97 and 99’s on a tough
Greg Norman layout.
