Terry Lanning, Andres Lopez, George Bursey, Noel Coolican and Lee Tincher all win at Palmetto Hall (Cupp) course!
Championship Flight:
Terry
Lanning birdied the first two holes on Saturday and never looked back on his
way to a stellar four under par 68 on The Cupp Course considered by many to be
one of the harder courses on the island.
Kameron Sallee playing in his first ever event carded an even par 72 for
solo second place. Jordan Zylstra also
in his first event was third at 77 followed by Chris Legare at 78.
A Flight:
Andres Lopez
wins again this time by five shots with 75.
Michel Dion was solos second at 80 followed by Joe McVey’s 83 and
Nashville’s Jerry Drewry with 84.
B Flight:
George
Bursey wins for the first time this year with a two shot victory at 81. Allen Hagen from the Charlotte tour finished
tied at 83 with John Robinson but Hagen got second place cash on the card
playoff. Boyd Laughlin & Sam Lewis
rounded out the top five with 85.
C Flight:
Noel
Coolican wins by two shots with 89 followed by Matthew Nemes at 91. Jimmie Woods was third with 94.
D Flight:
Lee Tincher
held the crystal on Saturday with a ten shot victory at 95. Louis Ecker an Arron Masterson tied second at
105.
