The George Fazio Course played host to the most recent Hilton Head-Savannah Tour event. The course was in great shape and the 24 players that took to the course were in high spirits. The heat was on a whole other level. With the temperature in the high 90’s and the heat index well over 100, water consumption and finding shade was at a premium today. Despite the heat, all the players enjoyed themselves and had a great time on the course.
The Championship flight saw three golfers compete for the top spot today. Cliff Earle, Greg Luther and Brent Savidge all took to the course with a smile on their face and a competitive spirit. In the end it was Cliff Earle, visiting from the Charlotte tour, who took home the top spot with a solid 77 on the day. For the second straight tournament Greg Luther finishes second by firing a tidy 79. Brent Savidge rounds out the top three with an 86 on the day.

The B flight also saw the return of a solid player. Scott Ammons returned to the tour to capture his first win of the season.
