The Tournament at Irish Creek is "ON" for tomorrow.
Please note if everyone checks in before 12:45 we can tee off earlier (around 1:00pm) per the Pro!
As you know this an exclusive Private Club that we can't reschedule, we got board approval to play on this date only. "We have to play"
Please bring your appropriate rain gear for tomorrow the course will be open for play.

Finally on the pick day of the year, the warm 78 degree day produced the best scores of the season. Thanks to the staff at Carolina Lakes GC (Sun City) for a great job ob the course allowing us to ride on the fairways after having 6 inches of snow on the ground on Tuesday.
Championship Flight:
Jim Aughtry notched his second straight victory of the season with an even par round of 72. Aughtry had to come from behind as Dave Schmidt was one under after his first nine holes. The match remained the same until Schmidt made a double bogey 7 at the par 5 13th hole and finished with 73 in second place. Chase Wilson competeing in his first event of the season came out with a third place finish at 74. Dave Brown and Alex Brenner both shot a pair of 75’s with Brown beating out Brenner on the card for 4th place.
A Flight:
Steve French debuted with a victory firing a smooth 78 on Saturday. Stan Lucas finished only one shot back at 79 good enough for a second place finish. Late arriving Andrew Chappuis did not let his bad directions get in his way as he cashed for the first time this year in third place at 80. Jason Breedlove then b eat out Mike Harter for fourth place on the card playoff, both players shot 82’s.
B Flight:
Mark Day grab his second title of the season by one shot on Saturday shooting 78 . Day just nipped out Clif Morgan and Steve Wichnoski who shot 79’s. Morgan beat of Wick on the card for second place. Chris Student who won at Carolina Lakes last year finishes in fourth this year with an 82.
C Flight:
Calvin Adair played the tournament round of his life by firing a 79. Thanks to Calvin’s continued improved play he will be promoted next week to B flight for the Irish Creek event. Congrat’s Calvin on your stellar improvements. John Rinaldi finished in second place for the second straight week by shooting a nice 85 on Saturday. Dean Hearn finished in third place with 87, and Steve price nipped out Nolan Elenz for fourth place on the card. Both men shot 88’s.
The tours next stop will take us to Irish Creek CC the old Kannapolis CC which Davis Love redid. The tournament is almost full so please register and pay on line ASAP if you do not want to be on a waiting list. Practice round will be available this week for only $50 for all participants. Tee time for this event is a 1:30 shotgun start now that daylight savings time is in place. Look forward to seeing all of you at Irish Creek this Saturday March 14th.
